IHD partners with Innovations for Youth (i4Y), to focus our work on the critical developmental window of adolescence. Engaging with practitioners, researchers and community partners, we seek to address the structural changes needed to promote wellness and thriving. Our work focuses on utilizing participatory approaches such as Youth-Led Participatory Action Research (YPAR) and supports training for the next generation of changemakers through our Youth Equity Discovery Initiative.
Our partnerships engage across a variety of contexts and topical areas impacting positive adolescent development such as:
- Engaging youth voice in school environments
- Exploring the role of digital media in adolescence
- Addressing youth experiencing homelessness
- Mental health and wellbeing
